Pomodoro. (http://pomodorotechnique.com) This is an iPhone or iPad app that can be used to implement the time management technique called “Pomodoro.” The technique is built on breaking work down into 25-minute segments, followed by 5-minute breaks. When you’ve completed four time segments, called pomodoros, you give yourself a longer break (for example, 20 or 30 minutes). The term pomodoro is Italian for tomato, and if you visit the website, you can learn more about the technique, order the book that describes it in more detail, and purchase a timer that looks like a tomato!
